Impact of COVID19

In mid-March of this year, the Health Alert was declared due to the COVID19 pandemic. The immediate effects caused by the Alarm State and the subsequent confinement were mainly the closure of all the companies that were not related to the services and products of first necessity, a circumstance that affected the vast majority of the companies. In anticipation that what finally happened could happen, at Carver we implemented our Business Continuity Plan, in order to minimize and mitigate the negative effects that we expected this pandemic would have, both at the labor and health level. Broadly speaking, the main actions that were taken are: · Closure of our work centers, in order to ensure the health of our workforce · Conditioning and testing of VPNs with the Barcelona office of Carver · Acquisition of the necessary hardware so that the entire staff could work remotely. · Agreements with the main clients to commute the face-to-face work of our technicians by telework. Given this anticipation, from the moment of the declaration of the State of Alarm we were able to close our work centers, organize the control of the teams remotely, enable our staff to telework with full guarantees and continue with the tasks that our technicians had assigned with remarkable normality. We continue working to improve the conditions of telework, information security and continue to preserve the health of our employees.
